i was on assignment for Southwark Council today - photographing the Elephant regeneration area. Whilst looking for alternative spots to shoot from I came across a concrete walkway leading into this derelict estate. Wandered around for ages, and got rather a chill I discovered on arriving home and finding it absolutely impossible to get warm. I took absolutely tons of pictures, would be nice to go back again and spend a bit more time looking for the less obvious stuff, whatever might be going on under the surface, and of course it'll all be gone soon, it will be good to have a record of the changing...

Had such a fun day yesterday, shooting film stills for Convergence dudes Martin Scanlan and Steve Lawes. Super talented actors Cassie Raine and Nick Figgis took the leading roles, but the true star of the day was Cassie's miniature schnauzer Alfie! The weather was perfect and the location - Whitstable - looked stunning, just the right combination of cold winter light and bleak empty beaches for the story, and a day which ended with the last scenes shot late in Camberwell - the grimy urban start to the tale. gallery of the pictures at film stills and Behind the scenes on facebook
